Welcome!

If you're visiting this blog as a result of the reference to it in Marian Thacher's article in the OTAN newsletter recently, please click on the following link to reach my more current blog at http://intermediatelow.blogspot.com/ I started this blog when I was teaching a different level, but it's been inactive for quite some time. You're welcome to look around of course, but you'll see I haven't posted anything new until now. The new blog features a lot more activities for my students to complete.

Welcome to my ESL Class blog - ESL Beginning High

Welcome to Mr. Bakin's ESL Beginning High (Pacoima Skills Center) class blog! What is a "blog"? "blog" comes from combining the words "Web" and "log". "Web" is a name for the Internet because a spider's web has many pathways and interconnections. "Log" is a record of events. A web log is a record of events on the Internet.

I hope that you (my students) will read each activity and "post" your response. ("post" means to write an answer and "publish" it to the blog. "Publish" means to add your response to the blog so anyone else can see it too.)

Remember, the first thing you will need to do is create your own account and blog (here at eblogger) so you can post your responses.
